Website Copywriting

Focusing on the content

A lot of people shy away when you start talking about website copywriting, SEO and all those other quite technical things.

However, I don't. As a copywriter myself, this really is my forte. I love to write the content for websites, ensuring it is on-brand and on-point.

There's a lot that goes into ensuring your website copywriting is up to scratch and I can help make sure you get the most out of your new site.

What is SEO?

Feeding the search engines!

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation. Simply put, this is the art of making sure the words on your page tell Google all the stuff it needs to know. The better the website SEO, the higher up you'll be in the search rankings, which is great for business.

This form of website copywriting is forever changing. Search engines often change their algorithms, meaning their way of gathering information changes. There used to be a big focus on just jamming keywords into a page, but search engines are now pretty smart and know what you're trying to do. SEO is quickly becoming an aspect of website copywriting that is more and more focused on user friendliness

Google has recently announced a change where their rankings will take into account the UX, or user experience, of a website. This is a big game changer for some, but luckily if you've had me design a website for you on Rocketspark, your UX will already be great!

"Louis provided excellent communication throughout the process and put a lot of energy into what he did. He genuinely has a desire to help small business owners. He has a very nice writing style that reads well, which is great for helping to establish new brands."

Website Copywriting

The bigger picture

One thing I stress to my clients is that website copywriting is something that should not be taken lightly.

If you've got a website with great design, it deserves equally great copywriting. If your website doesn't read well, confuses viewers or is full of mistakes, it's a total waste of time.

I always put a heavy focus on the website copywriting for any site I design. I make sure the content makes sense. I make sure the content is relevant. I make sure the content has no errors. And most of all, I make sure the content converts.

After all, what we're all trying to do with our websites is to convert views into sales, of some sort. Using various persuasive writing techniques, I craft my website copywriting into a stealthy sales machine - so you'll be converting traffic without them feeling like it!
