I have a long history in the world of website copywriting and design.
I have a Bachelor of Communications, with a Major in Creative Advertising. As a strong copywriter and designer, I wield a toolkit that will make any website ship-shape in no time.
My style of copywriting is natural yet persuasive, which is particularly useful on websites.
I have a passion for ensuring websites read well and I am always quick to point out that websites are a person to person communication platform, first and foremost.

The Heathcote Web Design Story
In recent times, a lot of kiwi businesses suddenly found out just how important having an online presence is. Not long before these COVID-induced panics, I started up my own business, sparked by the desire for professional freedom and to help the many small businesses within New Zealand.
This business was CREAM Creative Brand Management. I set this up as a type of virtual creative agency, using my network of freelance creatives. As we moved through the COVID lockdowns, it became apparent that websites were something in high demand. Luckily, this coincided with me finding out about Rocketspark.
Now, a year on, I have over 15 sites live on Rocketspark and have earned the title of Silver Design Partner. I was also a finalist for two awards in the 2021 Rocketspark Launch Awards - the Community Good award and New Partner of the Year award.
Due to the ever-growing popularity of my website copywriting and design services, I decided to split this off from the main business so I can more effectively assist web design clients. I prefer to use Rocketspark for my clients websites for so many reasons.
They make it easy for you to edit your own site once I've finished my job, so you don't need to keep paying me every time you need something changed.
They offer great functionality, particularly for e-commerce websites. They keep adding features as times change, such as great scheduled ordering options which came about during the COVID lockdowns in 2020.
Rocketspark is also continually coming up with more and more ways to help small business owners. They're also very active in their community and love to help out wherever they can.
